An Italian company in the field of R&D and fabrication of components for the Physics Research Institutes has been involved in a production of super-conductives cavities for the European project XFEL. A new plant has been setup, including a chemical polishing line with a BCP (buffering chemical polishing) a EP (electro-polishing) and a final cleaning with UPW (ultra pure water)
